MG Izard is an established family business located on the North Downs midway between Canterbury and Ashford.

Currently farming 700ha of family owned, tenanted and contract farmed land.

The foundations of the business were laid when Mr Gerald Izard purchased Sheepcourt Farm in 1950, at six thousand pounds for 150 acres, farmhouse, farm buildings and 15 semi wild Ayreshire cows!

The next door farm, Yockletts Farm, was acquired in 1962.
In 1984 Mark Izard returned from Agricultural College, expanding the operation into Agricultural Contracting. Mark then purchased Waddenhall Farm in 1993.

Contract Farming and Contracting are now a major part of the business.

With close attention to detail and careful planning and management, we pride ourselves in the farming and financial success of our business and the land of those we farm. We are always looking for opportunities to expand our management and farming operations within East Kent.
